Monday 27th of June Location: Nine Elms Point, 50 Wandsworth Road SW8 2LF, Apartment 74 at Haydn Tower Therapist: Nicky This complimentary 20-minute head, neck and shoulder massage uses a prop up massage chair and is completed over clothes.  This express massage releases muscles in the neck and shoulders caused by sitting at a desk and/or computer all day. Techniques often include massage of shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp and facial muscles.  It is also helpful for those who suffer from:  ● Tension headaches  ● Eye strain  ● Migraines  ● Sinusitis  ● Chronic neck pain  *Due to limited availability , please note that massages are limited to 1 per resident.

Wednesday 29th of June The Health Checks   Location: Nine Elms Point, 50 Wandsworth Road SW8 2LF, Apartment 74 at Haydn Tower Therapist: Silvia As part of the my.wellness week, we are providing you with an opportunity to book a complimentary Health Check.  Choose from one of the following Health Checks, each lasting 20 mins:  ● Postural assessment  ● Food diary analysis  ● Cardiovascular endurance assessment  ● PT surgery, where you can discuss a health & wellbeing related topic of your choice.  On completion of your health check, you will receive a personalised report with practical tips and ways to improve that key area.  *Due to limited availability , please note that Health Checks are limited to one per resident. 

Wednesday 29th of June Nutrition Workshop  Nutritionist: Emily Location: Cinema Room, Gladwin Tower. Health and Wellbeing is a hot topic. Keeping healthy, being active and eating the right foods is essential, however with so much choice out there it can be tough knowing what is the healthiest option and where to begin. This 60min workshop will provide an introduction into nutrition and it's importance to a healthy lifestyle and we will explore the following key topics: - Why nutrition is more than just about what we weigh (looking at gut, mental health, illnesses) - They key macronutrients and what makes them unique - Why a one size fits all diet doesn’t work.   Our Nutritionist; Edelle will delve deeper into some of the latest nutritional science and topics of interest in todays world. - The brain in our gut and how what we eat effects our mood - Why diversity is key in nutrition - Why a calorie is not a calorie Don't miss out on Edelle's recommendations of how to improve your health through the foods you eat. These small changes are easy to implement into your daily routine and over time will all culminate to have a positive effect on your health & wellbeing.
